Report: UIC Head Coach Search Now Narrowed Down To Five Candidates Hoops Illinois August 18, 2010 According to the Chicago Tribune, UIC has narrowed down their list of potential head coaches to just five candidates. Of the five candidates, three are currently assistant coaches in the Big 10 Conference. Howard Moore, of the University of Wisconsin, Mark Montgomery, associate head coach at Michigan State, Vince Taylor, or the University of Minnesota, Willis Wilson of Memphis and Joe Pasternak, head coach at New Orleans are the five finalists for the head coaching job at UIC. A decision could come as early as this week.
