Class of 2011 Joliet Township star Remy Roberts-Burnett has been a mainstay this season for Joliet Township team shared the Southwest Suburban Blue title. Roberts-Burnett ranks as one of the top Class of 2011 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Roberts-Burnett, a 5'11" point guard, is a quick and efficient lead guard who excels with his ability to push the ball in transition. Roberts-Burnett runs the show for a strong Joliet Township team that also features Class of 2010 star Anthony Shoemaker, and Class of 2013 star Morris Dunnigan.

Roberts-Burnett is very pleased with the play of his team this season. "The season has been going great for our team. We had some mental breakdowns earlier, but we stick together because we are a true family. We are showing how good we really are this year," said Roberts-Burnett.

Roberts-Burnett is happy with both his play, and his development this season. "I've made a huge jump forward from the beginning of the season to now. It's hard to make the transition to the point guard spot, but I have great coaches what work with me and now I'm playing the best I've ever played," said Roberts-Burnett.

Roberts-Burnett competes on the travel team circuit with the Illinois T-Wolves.

Joliet Township won the IHSA Class 4A Bloom Regional title, and will now face rival Lockport on Tuesday night in the semfinals of the Homewood-Flossmoor Sectional.
