Barnette ranks as one of the top 2011 prospects in the state of Tennessee. Barnette, a 6'4" guard/forward, is a highly versatile talent who also stars in the classroom. Barnette was an All-Tournament selection at the Tennessee State High School Tournament as a junior. Barnette joins a 2011 Northern Illinois recruiting class that already includes Zach Miller (Glenbard East). Barnette competed on the travel team circuit with the Nashville Celtics.
